Yua Watanabe is a Scenic and Production Designer, currently studying as an undergraduate senior at the University of California, Los Angeles.
She is pursuing a B.A. in theater with an emphasis in Design, exploring an interdisciplinary education in design for the performing arts. Her focus covers various forms of visual communication and storytelling to the contemporary audience in hopes of uncovering the many definitions of the human experience with each project.
Most recently, she worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as an exhibition design intern, and partnered with LA Metro and the Los Angeles Department of Public Health for a county-wide PSA campaign.
