Yua Watanabe is a Scenic and Production Designer currently based in New York City.

She received a B.A. in theater with an emphasis in Design and Production from The University of California, Los Angeles, School of Theater, Film and Television (UCLA TFT).

Most recently, she was an Assistant Scenic Designer on TEETH the off-broadway musical at New World Stages and The Blood Quilt at Lincoln Center Theater.

Aside from her work in theater, she was a design intern at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and has graphic designed for numerous county-wide campaigns in Los Angeles under the Los Angeles Regional Collaborative (LARC), partnering with LA Metro and Los Angeles Department of Public Health.
